In order to 'preorder' the zine, you will need to donate directly to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund ('PCRF') and provide us proof of donation via our Google Form!

Donating at least $15.00USD will get you the digital zine and all of the digital merch, while donating at least $20.00USD will get you the digital zine and all of the digital merch, the concept artbook, and a customised/personalised letter from a Genshin character of your choice.Please note that the zine itself will be free at some point in the distant future. However, most of the digital merch, the customised letter, and the concept artbook will only be for sale during this preorder period. We also naturally encourage donations to this fantastic charity.We have prepared a guide on how to donate for your reference.⚔️ ⚔️ ⚔️Step 1Go to the PCRF’s website.Step 2Click the ‘Donate’ button at the top right of the page, then click ‘Missions and Projects’ in the drop-down menu.
Step 3Feel free to select a donation option that suits you!- Donating at least $15.00USD will get you the digital zine and all of the digital merch
- Donating at least $20.00USD will get you the digital zine and all of the digital merch, and a customised/personalised letter from a Genshin character of your choice
Step 4- Once you’ve made your donation using PayPal or a card, please submit proof of donation to our Google Form, including:- A screenshot of the confirmation of payment (feel free to redact your personal details!)
- A screenshot of the receipt of donation email sent by the PCRFExamples of a donation made with PayPal
Step 5And that’s all! We’ll send you a confirmation email saying we’ve received your donation proofs, and we’ll send you the digital zine bundle as soon as it’s ready!Thank you so much for supporting our zine, and the PCRF!

What is a zine?A zine is an independently self-published booklet/magazine filled with fan-made artworks and/or writing around a certain theme for a specific fandom. It usually comes with physical and/or digital merchandise alongside the zine.Will this zine be digital, physical, or both?Our zine will be digital-only! Both the zine and any merch will be digital goods.Will this zine be for-profit or for-charity?This zine will be a FOR-CHARITY zine! All proceeds received from sales will be donated to a charity voted on by contributors.How will the contributor compensation work?All contributors will received a free digital bundle, which includes the zine and any digital merch.Will there be a NSFW component to this zine?No, there will be no NSFW content featured for this project.Will ships be featured in this zine?No, this will be a general content zine with no romance, only platonic relationships!Is this zine's concept limited to only 'traditional' ideas of knights (i.e. medieval)?No! APPLICATION GUIDELINES
GENERAL GUIDELINES◇ Contributors must be 16 years or older.
◇ Contributors must create an original piece for the zine.
◇ Contributors retain the rights to any work created for this zine once the project is complete. Prior to this, completed pieces are under an exclusivity clause, where only a small snippet of the work can be posted publicly. This is to ensure that the contents of the zine are not spoiled.
◇ Accepted contributors must join the zine's Discord server.
◇ Prior zine experience is not necessary to apply! We encourage people of all skill levels and experience to participate.
◇ PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT NSFW CONTENT IN YOUR APPLICATION. This includes sexually explicit, graphic violence, or gore content. Your portfolio may have NSFW content, provided that it is tagged accordingly.
◇ Please ensure that your portfolio (be it a personal website, a Google Drive folder or any other means) can be easily accessed. If the team is unable to view your portfolio, we can't consider your application.⚔️ ⚔️ ⚔️PAGE ARTIST GUIDELINES◇ Page artists will be expected to create ONE finished illustration with a background.
◇ Please provide three samples of your best work:- All samples must be completed (not a sketch, etc.)
- At least one sample must have a background.
- Having a Genshin Impact sample or samples featuring knights is strongly encouraged, but not required!◇ Please link to a portfolio containing at least 5 other art pieces that showcase your style.- Finished art pieces are preferred.
- Please be sure to add trigger/content warnings where appropriate.⚔️ ⚔️ ⚔️MERCH ARTIST GUIDELINES◇ Merch artists will be expected to create TWO art pieces for the zine, which could range from a desktop wallpaper to emojis.
◇ Please provide three samples of your best work:- All samples must be completed (not a sketch, etc.)
- Having samples of digital merch designs you've done is strongly encouraged, but not required!
- Having a Genshin Impact sample or samples featuring knights is strongly encouraged, but not required!
- Having samples of art pieces with backgrounds is strongly encouraged, but not required!◇ Please link to a portfolio containing at least 5 other art pieces that showcase your style.- Finished art pieces are preferred.⚔️ ⚔️ ⚔️WRITER GUIDELINES◇ Writers will be expected to write ONE or MULTIPLE pieces totalling 1,500 – 2,000 words. This can take the form of one long fic, or multiple flash fics (letters, reports, poems, etc.)
◇ Please provide three samples of your best work:- At least one sample must be a complete piece within a 1,500–2,000 word count.
- Other samples can be excerpts from longer pieces, but the sample must still be under 2,500 words.
- Having a Genshin Impact sample or samples featuring knights is strongly encouraged, but not required!
- It's strongly encouraged that you submit sample that best reflects what type of work you want to create for the zine! If you'd prefer to be a long fic writer, you should submit examples of longer fics. If you'd like to do shorter form pieces, you should submit letters, articles, journal entries etc.◇ Please link to a portfolio containing 4-6 writing pieces that showcase your style.- The three sample pieces can be included in your portfolio.
- While having more than 6 pieces is acceptable, only the 6 most recent/prominent pieces will be read.
